In studio 8 we have Stuart. Stuart is a figurative painter who utilises mixed media in his
work. Through gestural brushstrokes and a bold use of colour, his work
could be described as an organised chaos. There is an obvious influence
from street art in Stuart's work and the use of spray paint is a
powerful tool which is complemented well by his subtle use of paint,
chalk and charcoal. By mixing media Stuart builds upon layers which
creates depth and a complexity which is unique to his style.
